Project goals

This project aimed to create a 2025 calendar that reinforces BAZIC’s role as an “Everyday Essential” by highlighting its products in real-life, year-round moments, and bringing a fresh, fun, and trend-forward energy to the brand.

Concept & Tagline

I created the tagline:
“EVERYWHERE, EVERY TIME, EVERYDAY ESSENTIAL”

to echo BAZIC's vision while emphasizing the universality and accessibility of its product line. This guiding phrase shaped both the tone and the layout structure of the calendar.

Visual Approach

Each month features a modern, minimalist vector scene in a curated color palette that represents a lifestyle scene where BAZIC products naturally belong—classrooms, home offices, creative spaces, and beyond.
Within these scenes, I embedded real photographic cutouts of the actual products, creating contrast and drawing attention to the brand's tangible offerings.

This combination of illustrated environment and real product photo was intended to:

  • Make BAZIC products the visual focus
  • Blend storytelling with functional product placement
  • Encourage brand familiarity in everyday contexts

Details

Each month’s design was purposefully sequenced to match seasonal activities and cultural touchpoints, ensuring the visuals felt familiar and meaningful.

From start to finish, the calendar reinforces that BAZIC is here to meet everyday needs.

Final Outcome

The 2025 BAZIC Calendar functions as more than just a calendar — it serves as a visual narrative of everyday life supported by essential tools. It not only reminds customers of what BAZIC offers, but also when and how they can use it.

This project helped solidify BAZIC’s position as a reliable, versatile one-stop stationary shop for students, workers, teachers, and families — all year long.

About Me

Raised in Hong Kong and shaped by time in Los Angeles, I recently returned home with a cross-cultural perspective that informs my design approach. Most recently, I created marketing materials for a consumer products company, including email campaigns, promotional graphics, product videos, and visual assets—such as info and lifestyle images—for Amazon, the company website, and other marketplaces. I also take on freelance work, designing logos and animating logo intros for YouTube channels.

At the core of my practice is a deep interest in exploring meaning and value through design. I’m always in search of depth—creating work that not only looks good but also communicates purpose and resonates on an emotional level. With a strong passion for Packaging, Branding, and Motion, I approach each project with intention and empathy, aiming to craft visuals that are both impactful and meaningful. This mindset continues to drive my growth as a multi-disciplinary designer.
